My kennels

I started breeding dogs in 1999, together with my partner, a former veterinary nurse.

LolaThe French Bulldogs have long fascinated me both with their looks and their happy and outgoing temperament. In 1996 we decided to buy our first Bully. "Laurette de Baviere" (pet name Lola) was a real godsend. As a novice breeder I could not have hoped for a better start and our thanks go to her breeder Carmen Janotta in Germany for entrusting us with this wonderful girl who became my foundation bitch.

Lola had a fantastic show career, gaining International, German and Swiss Champion titles, and has given us some wonderful puppies, among them "Baron Sumo de Soleure", International Champion and a great stud dog; "Duke de Soleure" who equally is very successful in the show ring and so far has gained the title of German Champion. As Duke on his sire's side (Moustique du Marais Picton) also comes from a successful bloodline he has, just as his halfbrother Sumo, produced some progeny which have done us very proud.

I and my partner plan the litters very carefully and we devote a lot of time to the raising of puppies. Therefore, I usually don't have more than one or two litters a year. We are aware that breeding dogs is a great responsibility and the puppies are socialised very carefully so that their new owners will derive much pleasure from their new companion.

7 Bully puppies

Right from the beginning the puppies are put in contact with various environments, with people, including children, and other dogs. My kennels and outdoor runs are large, clean and light. The puppies are all kept in the house and are raised in close contact with us and the adult dogs.

All the dogs have free access to a large garden by means of a swing door.

Prospective puppy buyers receive thorough advice both before and after they have bought a puppy from us. Not everybody is suited for this breed or dogs in general for that matter. A puppy that we have raised carefully and lovingly is not sold to the first person that comes along just for the sake of money. This is very important to us as we are very fond of both the puppies and our adult dogs.

I breed exclusively with pedigrees issued by the Swiss Kennel Club. My puppies are sold inoculated, microchipped and dewormed. My kennels have been awarded the "Golden Label" and are regularly inspected by the Swiss Kennel Club and the Breed Club.

My breeding stock are subject to breed specific health checks as well as to breeding selection by the French Bulldog Club of Switzerland. My dogs are also successfully shown both in Switzerland and abroad.

The stud dogs are chosen very carefully with regard to health aspects and breed standard and we don't hesitate to travel long distances, such as Holland, France, Denmark, for a suitable mate.

Visitors are always welcome by appointment.
